My top quality silk tulle is 350 cms wide. It is woven on the original vintage machines which were invented in the UK and exported to France in the 1800s. These machines are still working as they did many years ago. They mimic the action of the fingers of the lacemakers as they weave their lace with wooden bobbins on a pillow.
